Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maple Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butler comes into the arena with Krawl blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maple Leaf!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Leaf connects with a jab.

Leaf closes the distance and pushes Butler back into the cage.
Butler lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Leaf.
Butler stalling the fight.
Leaf is looking to break free of the clinch but Butler has double underhooks.
Leaf throws a knee to the head but misses.
Butler lands a hook to the side of the head.
Leaf wants to stall.
Butler presses Leaf against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Butler stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Butler scores with a hook to the body.
Leaf fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Butler blocks an uppercut.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Butler.

Butler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Butler connects with a body shot.
Leaf fails with the takedown
and Butler counters with a three punch combo that has Leaf backing up. Leaf nods at Butler to acknowledge the strikes.

Leaf is rocked!

It looks like Maple Leaf has been cut.
Paul Butler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leaf takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Leaf is still on wobbly legs! Can Butler finish him?
Leaf takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Leaf tries to clinch up
and Butler counters with a straight right hand.
Leaf has his takedown stuffed
and Butler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Paul Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maple Leaf.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Butler lands a right hook to the body.
Leaf seems to have recovered his senses.

Butler drops Leaf with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leaf looks back up at him and smiles so Butler waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Butler works Leaf's body with a nice hook.
Butler connects with a body shot that sends Leaf's belly button to the back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leaf doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Butler comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Leaf stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Butler is on him like rabid pit bull! Leaf slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
