Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Thomason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Al Pacino Delegratti!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delegratti showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thomason.
Thomason throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thomason throws a series of punches but Delegratti avoids them all with ease.
Delegratti scores with the left hand. Thomason knows he should have avoided that one.
Delegratti connects with a nice looking jab.
Thomason has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Luke Thomason has been cut.

Delegratti lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thomason tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Thomason pulls Delegratti in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Delegratti accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Delegratti passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Thomason tries to escape but Delegratti is in control.
Thomason takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Delegratti misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Delegratti postures up in Thomason's guard and throws a big left but Thomason blocks it.

Delegratti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomason swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Delegratti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Luke Thomason's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Delegratti shoots in and gets a takedown into Thomason's guard.

Delegratti postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Thomason looks a forlorn figure.
Al Pacino Delegratti has got the better of the ground game so far.
Delegratti breaks from Thomason's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delegratti cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Thomason is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delegratti pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Thomason is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Delegratti softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Thomason is out cold! Delegratti jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Pacino Delegratti!
