Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phineus Gage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gage's entrance music is Mac Lethal - Black Widow Spider . A fine choice. Reyes has chosen All the Above as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Phineus Gage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Stevie Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes throws a jab but it's blocked by Gage.
Reyes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Reyes throws an off balance right hand
and Gage counters with an inside leg kick.
Reyes swinging wildly here.
Reyes throws a hook but Gage avoids it easily.
Nice shot lands for Reyes.
Gage throws a low kick but it's checked well by Reyes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gage takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gage throws a leg kick but Reyes sees it coming and checks it nicely.

A looping hook to the body misses from Reyes. Gage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reyes swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Gage counters with a good low kick that Reyes was not able to check.

Gage tries to score with a low kick but Reyes moves his leg out of the way.
Reyes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gage manages to avoid it.
Jab, jab by Reyes - just one landing.
Gage throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Reyes lands a head shot.

Reyes jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Reyes uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gage feints and then cracks Reyes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reyes down.
Reyes throws a big shot that misses.
Reyes throws a one two combo.
Stevie Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gage counters with a slapping leg kick.
Reyes with a hook.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gage moves away from the strike by Reyes.
Gage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Reyes lands with a straight right. Gage didn't see that one coming.
Gage bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab lands there for Reyes.
Reyes cracks Gage with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reyes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gage back to the cage. Reyes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Reyes connects with a single shot there.
Reyes clobbers Gage with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gage finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Reyes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Gage tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Reyes is able to avoid easily.
Gage slips under a jab.
Gage tries to work over Reyes's front leg with a kick but Reyes checks it.

Reyes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gage.
Reyes throws a shot from downtown. Gage moves away and avoids it.
Reyes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gage misses with a low kick.
Reyes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Reyes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gage turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Reyes blocks the low kick.
Reyes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gage gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gage is looking to chop away at Reyes's legs.

Reyes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Reyes checks a leg kick.
Reyes throws a series of punches but Gage moves out of range.
Gage throws a leg kick that is checked
and Reyes counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Reyes throws a shot to the body.
Gage ducks under a wild hook from Reyes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gage lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reyes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reyes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Reyes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gage ducks under a wild hook from Reyes.
Phineus Gage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reyes misses with a straight left.
Gage slips a jab and a cross from Reyes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stevie Reyes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Donk. Reyes catches Gage right on the button with a cross.

enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab.

Gage takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Reyes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Reyes misses with a lunging right hand
and Gage counters with an inside leg kick.
Reyes misses with a hook. Gage ducked under it nicely.
Reyes's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Reyes takes a swing at Gage's ribcage but misses.
Reyes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gage throws a chopping leg kick but Reyes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gage.
Reyes misses the jab.

Gage throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gage tries a low kick but Reyes avoids it.
Reyes checks a leg kick.
Gage throws a leg kick
and Gage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reyes blocks a head kick by Gage.
Reyes throws out a loose jab but Gage uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gage tried to score with a low kick but Reyes checks it.
Reyes misses with a straight left.
Stevie Reyes is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Gage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reyes tests Gage's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Phineus Gage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Reyes cracks Gage with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Stevie Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reyes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
