The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MaClough tries to clinch
and Ishikawa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in MaClough's guard.
Ishikawa tries to free his leg and advance position but MaClough is retaining full guard.
Ishikawa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
MaClough is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ishikawa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ishikawa's back!

MaClough really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ishikawa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. MaClough can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ishikawa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But MaClough has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from MaClough!
Ishikawa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MaClough can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ishikawa quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! MaClough has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ishikawa celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
