PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blood Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Second Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bane comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Blood. Boy has chosen Hollywood Undead - Undead as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blood Bane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Second Boy!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bane throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boy.
Bane stuffs the takedown attempt from Boy. Boy gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boy is defended easily by Bane.
Blood Bane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Second Boy.
Boy shoots in looking for a takedown but Bane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bane slaps away a takedown attempt from Boy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Bane. That snapped Boy's head back.
Blood Bane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bane lands a glancing blow to the side of Boy's head.
Bane feints and then cracks Boy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boy down.
Bane chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Boy looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bane's corner calls for a 1-2. Bane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boy throws the left hand but Bane avoids the punch easily.
Decent striking displayed by Bane there.
Boy on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Bane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good leg kick by Bane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bane feints and then cracks Boy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boy down.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bane.
Bane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boy's head backwards.

It looks like Second Boy has been cut.
Bane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Boy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bane throws a head kick that misses.
Bane scoring well with a low kick there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Boy's head.
Bane tests Boy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bane throws a leg kick which misses Boy's front leg but catches the back leg as Boy tries to avoid it.

Bane feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Boy sprawling to the canvas! Boy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bane finish him?!

Boy is rocked!

Boy shoots in looking for a takedown. Bane tries to sprawl out of it but Boy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bane can pounce on him.

Bane lands a leg kick that knocks Boy off balance momentarily.
Jab from Bane.
That kick from Bane tenderised Boy's leg. Boy is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bane lands a big head kick that sends Boy tumbling to the mat! Bane takes a step backwards and waves Boy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Boy is still on wobbly legs! Can Bane finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Bane! This one is all over!
