The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washingham tries to clinch but Hardy is having none of it.
Hardy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Bellevue Washingham has been cut.
Washingham tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hardy swats away the attempt to clinch by Washingham.
Washingham displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardy throws out the jab.
A combination from Washingham does no damage.
Hardy throws an overhand right that drops Washingham like a sack of potatoes! Hardy dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, James Hardy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
