Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Godfrey McNaughton!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McNaughton looking to score a takedown here. Evans is defending well but McNaughton drives through and ends up in Evans's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
McNaughton passes Evans's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Evans is trying to maintain the position but McNaughton is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McNaughton prevents Evans from improving his position.
Evans is refusing to be controlled, as McNaughton sits in half guard.
McNaughton is figuring out what he wants to do next.
McNaughton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Evans wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

McNaughton is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Evans knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Evans for a finish.

McNaughton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Evans is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McNaughton.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lee Evans will probably get the nod.

McNaughton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Evans is just riding it out for now. McNaughton eventually gives up the hold.
McNaughton is keen to just control but Evans is a slippery customer.

McNaughton is trying to control the action in half guard but Evans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Godfrey McNaughton.
Well McNaughton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
