PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richardson comes into the arena with This Calling by All That Remains blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Richardson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell throws a hook but Richardson blocks it.
Mitchell fails with the takedown.
Mitchell shoots in but Richardson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Richardson stuffs the takedown.
Nate Richardson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Mitchell.
Richardson throws a leg kick which misses Mitchell's front leg but catches the back leg as Mitchell tries to avoid it.
Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richardson tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richardson to the ground. Richardson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mitchell looks gassed!
Richardson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Mitchell crumples to the floor! Richardson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
