Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kris Smyth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Worrell!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Smyth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smyth is looking to score with low kicks.
Smyth tests Worrell's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice body kick there by Worrell.
Worrell with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Smyth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Worrell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smyth chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Worrell can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Worrell throws a nice inside leg kick.
Worrell just misses with a punch to the body.
Worrell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Peter Worrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smyth throws a leg kick
and Worrell counters with a nice body kick.

Worrell looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Worrell misses with a double jab
and Smyth counters with a solid body kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Worrell.
Worrell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smyth was well out of range. Poor timing from Worrell.
Smyth throws a front kick aimed at Worrell's knee but Worrell avoids it well.
Worrell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Worrell staying out of range there.
Smyth looks for the body kick but Worrell saw that one coming.
Worrell tries to work over Smyth's front leg with a kick but Smyth checks it.
Smyth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smyth throws a head kick that misses.
Worrell misses with a left hand
and Smyth counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Worrell lands with a straight right. Smyth didn't see that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Worrell connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Smyth momentarily.
Nice body kick from Worrell.
Smyth on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Worrell bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Worrell scores with a kick to the body.
Worrell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smyth tries to close the distance and clinch but Worrell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smyth defending well as Worrell loads up on a big left hand.

Smyth swings for the body but Worrell moves out of range.
Smyth connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Smyth throws out a loose jab but Worrell uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head kick from Worrell lands but Smyth takes it in his stride.
A head kick misses from Smyth.
Worrell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smyth under the eye.
Worrell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smyth looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Worrell lands a nice shot that snaps Smyth's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smyth takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Worrell throws a front kick that sends Smyth stumbling back into the cage.
Smyth is breathing heavily.
Worrell cracks Smyth with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Worrell tries a head kick but it misses.
Worrell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smyth manages to avoid it.
Worrell dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smyth. That did some damage!
Worrell lands a nice shot that snaps Smyth's head back.


Smyth is rocked!
Worrell throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Oh Smyth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Worrell. Smyth shrugs it off though.
Worrell fakes the body blow, causing Smyth to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Smyth goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
