The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Powers sizes up Hunter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Powers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Powers drives through with a takedown into Hunter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Powers with a flurry of punches that miss.
Powers missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Powers postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Powers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hunter's head.
Powers advances to half guard.
Hunter is not content to let Powers control the position.
Powers throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Powers lands a nice short elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Powers connects with a nice short shot to Hunter's temple.

Hunter is rocked!
Powers is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Hunter is hurt! He's hurt bad - Powers fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Hunter from any more punishment! Congratulations to Powers! Great finish!
