The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina moves in looking to clinch but Oneil pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Medina looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rober Medina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Medina will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Medina rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oneil moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Medina is looking to control Oneil's arms but Oneil gets an underhook and turns him. Now Medina has his back to the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Oneil's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Medina throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Oneil blocks it with crossed arms.

Medina swings wildly with an uppercut but Oneil uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oneil has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Medina regains guard immediately.
Oneil slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oneil drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Oneil seems to have locked his on tight now - Medina screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Oneil, as he picks up the win!
