Mitrione Jr has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disamsam moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Disamsam tries to clinch there but Mitrione Jr circles away.
No joy there for Mitrione Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mark Disamsam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Mark Disamsam has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Mitrione Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Disamsam which made him look bad.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mitrione Jr rushes Disamsam with punches - Disamsam moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Disamsam goes down! Mitrione Jr follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
