Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chuck WIlson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scott Silva!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WIlson is looking to clinch.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
A thudding body kick lands there by WIlson!
Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.

It looks like Scott Silva has been cut.
WIlson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chuck WIlson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before WIlson can pounce on him.

WIlson swings wildly with an uppercut but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from WIlson.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
WIlson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silva is defending well for now.

Silva jumps guard and drags WIlson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

WIlson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
WIlson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That kick from WIlson tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.

WIlson lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! WIlson takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

WIlson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can WIlson finish him?
WIlson feints a jab and as Silva dips his head, WIlson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Silva right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Silva falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! WIlson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chuck WIlson!
Chuck WIlson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
