Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grisha Egorov!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egorov tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Jackson is working for a submission of some sort.

Jackson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Egorov.
Egorov is looking to regain half guard here but Jackson keeps moving and retains side control.
Egorov tries to control but Jackson manages to take his back.

Egorov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Egorov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson !

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.

Jackson wants to control from the top but Egorov keeps moving.
Jackson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chris Jackson .

Egorov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Egorov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Egorov is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jackson reverses the position - he's now on top in Egorov's guard.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Egorov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jackson on his heels. He'll look to pass Jackson 's guard now, I'm sure.
