Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kazuma Kinoshita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jahan Drey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jahan Drey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuma Kinoshita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jahan Drey!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drey lands a front kick.
Kinoshita takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Drey scores with a head kick.
Kinoshita throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drey's waist but Drey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kinoshita off to one side.
Drey throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kinoshita.
Kinoshita shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Drey defends it nicely.

Kinoshita closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kinoshita lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Drey controls Kinoshita momentarily but Kinoshita frees himself.

Kinoshita postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kinoshita distracts Drey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Drey is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kinoshita makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kinoshita sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drey's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kinoshita thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Drey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kinoshita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drey wants to control but Kinoshita is keeping busy.

Drey is trying to get back to full guard.
Kinoshita is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Drey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kinoshita slips a nice elbow through Drey's hands, connecting with Drey's forehead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kazuma Kinoshita dominated that round.
That's time! Kinoshita's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Drey lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kinoshita tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drey swivels and escapes.
That kick from Drey tenderised Kinoshita's leg. Kinoshita is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kinoshita closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Drey's guard.
Kinoshita content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drey looking to control.
Kinoshita lands a couple of elbows.
Drey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kinoshita controls the pace.
Kinoshita with a flurry of punches that miss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kinoshita engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kinoshita keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Drey's head.

Kinoshita seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kazuma Kinoshita overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kinoshita working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kinoshita lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drey can do anything to dispel that myth.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kinoshita lands a nice short elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Drey is breathing heavily.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kinoshita connects with a nice short shot to Drey's temple.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kazuma Kinoshita showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kinoshita has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
