Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Enrique Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez misses with an attempted mid kick.
Alvarez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Alvarez shoots in looking for a takedown but Rogers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alvarez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rogers punishes Alvarez's body with a nice straight punch.
Alvarez is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogers lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Alvarez up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Rogers from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Alvarez's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jason Rogers!
Jason Rogers was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
