The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Martin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martin thows a body shot but no joy.
Martin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tim Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
uisce beag misses with the combination.
Martin throws a wild body kick that uisce beag sees coming a mile off.
Martin avoids the head kick by uisce beag.
Martin misses with a body shot
and uisce beag counters with a stiff right hand.
uisce beag takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Martin misses with a jab to the body
and Martin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Martin lands a nice looking kick to the body. uisce beag takes a step back to recover.
Martin takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Tim Martin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

uisce beag feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Martin sprawling to the canvas! Martin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can uisce beag finish him?!

Martin is rocked!
uisce beag circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Martin to the canvas! Martin doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - uisce beag keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
