Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davin Gunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Black. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gunter wants to control but Diesel is keeping busy.
Gunter is looking to improve his position.
Gunter slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Gunter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Diesel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Davin Gunter will probably get the nod.

and Diesel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gunter's guard.
Gunter is trying to control the position but Diesel postures up.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Diesel. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Gunter is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diesel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gunter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gunter tries to pull guard but Diesel holds him up against the cage and eventually Gunter drops back down to his feet.
