Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Link (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez shoots in but Link avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Martinez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Link lands with a good body shot.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Link, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Link against the ropes but Link circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ricardo Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martinez blocks a head kick by Link.

Link connects with a good right hand that stumbles Martinez. Martinez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Link, as that shot connected.
Link is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Link lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Link.
Link uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Martinez has time to react.
Martinez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Link lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Link is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Link stalks Martinez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Martinez's face. Martinez staggers backwards, shaken.
Link lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Martinez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Link is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Martinez.
Link scores with a one two! Martinez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Martinez is rocked!
Link drops Martinez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Link follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Gerard Link tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
