Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillon Tyreke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyreke comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Real Compton City G's kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dillon Tyreke will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyreke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tyreke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyreke wants it to stay on the feet.
Tyreke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tyreke throws a head kick but Gavin moves out of range.
Gavin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyreke as he jumps to the side.
Tyreke's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gavin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyreke scrambles back to his feet.
Gavin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyreke.

Tyreke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gavin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gavin tries to score with some ground and pound. Tyreke controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Gavin is looking to take a break and control but Tyreke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gavin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyreke down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gavin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gavin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gavin shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyreke tries to sprawl out of it but Gavin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyreke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
