Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy comes into the arena with Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe blaring out of the sound system. Perry has chosen Sound of Maddness as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy loads up on a big right hand but Perry slips the punch.
Perry walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Perry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Blake Perry has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hardy lands with an overhand left.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown but Hardy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Perry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Perry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hardy cracks Perry with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Perry looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hardy finish him?
Perry is rocked!
Perry dives in and grabs Hardy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hardy pushes down on Perry's head and hops out.
James Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Perry.
Perry bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Hardy comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Perry falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Perry was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Hardy!
James Hardy was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
