Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Flo Rida - Whistle. Jon Snow Junior has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Snow Junior!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snow Junior moves away.
Kelly fails with a takedown attempt.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snow Junior but Snow Junior pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kelly moves out of range of the body kick from Snow Junior.
Snow Junior throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
A lazy left from Kelly finds it's target.

Kelly gets a double leg takedown into Snow Junior's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Snow Junior avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snow Junior manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kelly manages to get himself to full guard.

Kelly has his feet on Snow Junior's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snow Junior's waist but Snow Junior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kelly off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kelly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snow Junior to the mat! Snow Junior manages to get full guard.

Snow Junior working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kelly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kelly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kelly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kelly controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kelly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Snow Junior is keeping the position for now.

Snow Junior is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly stands up from Snow Junior's guard - Kelly perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kelly avoids the head kick by Snow Junior.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kelly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kelly lands in his opponent's guard.
Snow Junior wants to improve his position but instead Kelly has moved into half guard.
Snow Junior wants to improve his position but Kelly is controlling well.
Kelly keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snow Junior is trying to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Max Kelly just wasn't active enough.
Snow Junior misses with a wild body shot.

Kelly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kelly showed some decent athleticism there.

Kelly decides to stand up.
Snow Junior throws a series of punches but Kelly moves out of range.
Snow Junior looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kelly takes a swing at Snow Junior's ribcage but misses.
Snow Junior tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Kelly moves into the clinch.

Kelly successfully pulls guard.
Snow Junior looking to sit in guard and control but Kelly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Snow Junior has his foot on Kelly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kelly works his way back into a safe position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kelly works a leg free and moves into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snow Junior is trying to stand.
Snow Junior looks gassed!

Kelly decides to stand up.
Kelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Snow Junior.
Kelly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snow Junior pinned against the cage. Snow Junior gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Snow Junior walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kelly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kelly connects with a single shot there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Snow Junior misses with a double jab.
Kelly looks for a takedown but Snow Junior sprawls well.
Kelly shoots for a takedown but Snow Junior saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Kelly dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Kelly closes the distance and clinches.

Kelly is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Snow Junior can't fight it off and eventually Kelly manages to take the fight to the floor. Snow Junior looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Snow Junior wants to sweep here but Kelly controlling him for the moment.
Kelly is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Snow Junior is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kelly stands up and waves to Snow Junior to follow him.
Kelly moves out of range of the body kick.
Snow Junior tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly moves out of range as Snow Junior throws a body kick.

Snow Junior throws a head kick but Kelly moves out of range.
Snow Junior throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
Snow Junior keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Snow Junior rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snow Junior walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kelly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kelly scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kelly is defended easily by Snow Junior.
Snow Junior drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kelly takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Snow Junior enables Kelly to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Snow Junior manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snow Junior wants to hit a switch here but Kelly passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Snow Junior there!
Snow Junior is breathing heavily.
Snow Junior can't escape the position.
Kelly controlling his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kelly scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kelly lands a big elbow.
Kelly lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kelly raining down shots from the mount!


Snow Junior is rocked!
Kelly landing strikes, looking to finish!
Snow Junior is still in real trouble! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly cracks Snow Junior with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

A big strike lands for Kelly! That's really hurt Snow Junior and he's turned his back - Kelly keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kelly jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Kelly!
