Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauri Ruoska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pinkman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Regeneration Remix . Ruoska comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sympathy for the Devil kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Pinkman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mauri Ruoska!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Pinkman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ruoska slips a jab from Pinkman.
Ruoska throws a good cross that connects.
Pinkman shoots in looking for a takedown but Ruoska manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pinkman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pinkman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ruoska is looking to regain half guard here but Pinkman keeps moving and retains side control.

Pinkman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ruoska is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pinkman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ruoska's shoulder. That is not cool.
You can see the frustration on Ruoska's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pinkman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ruoska keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruoska is not content to let Pinkman control the position.
Ruoska tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pinkman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pinkman is taking a breather. Ruoska says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Pinkman throws an elbow that misses. Ruoska uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pinkman's guard. Nice move by Ruoska!

I would just about give that final round to Mauri Ruoska.
Well Pinkman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jesse Pinkman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
