Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edwin Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meadows is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Punky's Whips. Edwin Meadows has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edwin Meadows!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaMotta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
LaMotta tries to bum rush Meadows with a series of wild strikes but Meadows uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
LaMotta lands a jab to the nose.
Donk. Meadows catches LaMotta right on the button with a cross.
LaMotta lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
LaMotta throws a lazy right hand but Meadows sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
LaMotta tests Meadows's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Meadows has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Meadows there as he acknowledges the shot.
LaMotta scores with a jab.
LaMotta throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jake LaMotta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaMotta lands with an uppercut that bounces Meadows off the cage and back into rage.
Meadows moves forwards but LaMotta connects with a nice, crisp jab.
LaMotta looks to land a right hand but Meadows moved out of range.
Meadows walks into a left hand.
LaMotta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
LaMotta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
LaMotta throws the left hand but Meadows avoids the punch easily.
A punch combination from Meadows misses.
Meadows avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A cross from LaMotta lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Meadows steps to the side to avoid the strikes from LaMotta.
Meadows tries to bum rush LaMotta with a series of wild strikes but LaMotta uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
LaMotta throws a combination. Meadows tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
LaMotta throws a leg kick but Meadows sees it coming and checks it nicely.
LaMotta misses with a combination
and LaMotta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Meadows misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Left hook, right uppercut from LaMotta.
Meadows misses with a few strikes there.
LaMotta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A solid leg kick lands there for LaMotta.
LaMotta connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
LaMotta fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Meadows looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Meadows on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
LaMotta throws a solid leg kick but Meadows takes the impact on his shin and smiles at LaMotta.
LaMotta takes a jab right on the kisser.
LaMotta lands a right hook to the body.
Meadows avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Meadows has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from LaMotta finds it's way round the side to connect with Meadows's head.
LaMotta dips to his left and cracks Meadows with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for LaMotta.
Meadows looks gassed!
The crowd cheers as LaMotta lands an impressive looking overhand right. Meadows doesn't seem phased though.
Meadows takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Meadows is rocked!

BOOM! LaMotta lands a beautiful left hook that drops Meadows. Meadows tries to recover but LaMotta is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Meadows lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
