Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silver Back!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stephen Keyes!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Keyes tenderised Back's leg. Back is trying to keep his angry face on.
Keyes misses with a low kick as Back jumps back.
Jab, jab by Back - just one landing.
Keyes looks to score with a jab to the body but Back is just out of range.
Back lands with a straight right. Keyes didn't see that one coming.
Back throws a chopping leg kick but Keyes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Keyes lands with a kick to the ribs.
Back takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Keyes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Back changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Keyes tries to avoid it but Back manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Keyes to the ground. Keyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Back lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Back ducks under a wild hook from Keyes.
Keyes scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Keyes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Back cracks a nice hook into Keyes's ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keyes lands with a shot to the body.
Back misses with a double jab.
Back misses with a body shot.
Keyes slips under a jab from Back.
A slow jab from Back misses its intended target.
Keyes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Back back to the cage. Keyes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Keyes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Back misses with a right hand
and Keyes counters with a thumping low kick.
Keyes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Keyes throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Silver Back has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Back throws an overhand right that lands on Keyes's shoulder, as Keyes tries to avoid the shot.
Back misses with a low kick.

Keyes with a hook.


Back is rocked!
Jab, jab by Back - just one landing.
Keyes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Back takes a swing at Keyes's ribcage but misses.
Back has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Keyes.
Back misses with a few strikes there.
Back connects with a jab.
Keyes throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Keyes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Keyes scores with a decent looking hook.
Back misses with an uppercut. Keyes saw that one coming.
Keyes scores with a punch to the head.
Oh Back is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stephen Keyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keyes looks for the body kick but Back saw that one coming.
Back seems to have got his legs back now.
A jab from Back finds it's way through Keyes's defenses.
Back drops his hands momentarily and Keyes needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Back just on the top of the head. Back drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Back - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Stephen Keyes!
