Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shannon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Donald Trump by Mac Miller. Rickson Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie.
Shannon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Shannon is looking for a kimura here.
Shannon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Shannon eventually gives up the hold.
Shannon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gracie is pressing down on Shannon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Shannon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gracie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shannon, into his guard.

Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Shannon keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rickson Gracie just wasn't active enough.
Shannon closes the distance and clinches up with Gracie, looking for a takedown. Shannon pushes Gracie against the cage but Gracie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shannon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gracie swivels and escapes.
Gracie misses the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Shannon goes down! Can Gracie finish him!?
Shannon is rocked!
It looks like Leon Shannon has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Shannon is still in real trouble! Can Gracie finish him?
Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Shannon looks gassed!
Gracie wants to control but Shannon is keeping him busy.
Shannon seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Shannon is not content to let Gracie control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shannon.
Nice takedown defense from Gracie. No joy for Shannon on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shannon walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Gracie! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
