The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Tivolvich as McGowan shoots in.

Tivolvich shoots in and gets a takedown into McGowan's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

McGowan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tivolvich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGowan tries to avoid it but Tivolvich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGowan to the ground. McGowan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGowan closes the distance and clinches up with Tivolvich, looking for a takedown. McGowan pushes Tivolvich against the cage but Tivolvich circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
