Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Man might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man dives in and grabs Dixie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dixie pushes down on Man's head and hops out.
Dixie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Man stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dixie tries to work over Man's front leg with a kick but Man checks it.
Man shoots in and drives through. Dixie sprawls well.
Man tries to clinch up but Dixie circles away and keeps his distance.
Dixie throws a shot from downtown. Man moves away and avoids it.
Dixie scores with a head kick.
Man on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Man misses with a body shot.
Dixie misses with a body kick.
Man gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dixie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Man.
Man wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dixie, who protects the arm well.

Man lands some shots froms side control.
Dixie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Man has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dixie misses with a low kick.
Man takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Mason Dixie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dixie tries to work over Man's front leg with a kick but Man checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ip Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dixie throws an off balance right hand
and Man counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Dixie is trying to stand up here but Man is controlling him well.
Dixie wants to control but Man is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dixie is staying active underneath Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Man is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Man looking for a submission but Dixie manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Dixie is trying to control the position but Man postures up.

Man looking to sit in guard and control but Dixie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dixie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dixie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Man has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dixie has managed to get both his arms back between Man's legs - danger averted.

Man is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dixie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dixie is desperately trying to improve his position but Man has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dixie takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Man has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dixie is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Man connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Man unloads with some shots from mount but Dixie bucks and avoids them well.
Man landing strikes, looking to finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dixie is looking to get to half guard.
Dixie takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Man's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ip Man!
An out of breath Ip Man thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
