The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phuttharaksa scores with a takedown into Dodson's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Phuttharaksa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dodson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Phuttharaksa has Dodson in his guard.
Dodson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Phuttharaksa throws up his legs and catches Dodson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Dodson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Phuttharaksa! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa!
Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that FinnSubs logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
