The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez looks to throw the jab but Garrick is out of range.
Martinez misses with a wild combination.
A nice combination there by Martinez.
Martinez scores with a sloppy right hand. Garrick should have avoided that one.
Some wild striking there from Martinez.
Garrick feints and as Martinez raises his hands in defense, Garrick changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Garrick is looking to work some ground and pound but Martinez has wrist control.
Martinez controlling the position.
Martinez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Garrick's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garrick is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Martinez defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garrick is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Garrick is trying for a kimura here. Martinez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Garrick wins by kimura!
