The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papalola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vartanov circles away quickly and effectively.
Papalola scores with the left hand. Vartanov knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Jorik Vartanov has been cut.

Papalola lands a big uppercut and Vartanov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vartanov looks OK. Papalola waves Vartanov back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Papalola engages and cracks Vartanov with a massive lead left hook - Vartanov tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Papalola is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
