Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Hercules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hercules comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hollywood Undead - Undead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas looks to land a combination. Hercules sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A nice combination there by Thomas.
Thomas misses with a two punch combination.
Thomas throws an off balance right hand
and Hercules counters with a left and a right that stings Thomas.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hercules shoots in and drives through. Thomas sprawls well.
Hercules slips a jab and a cross from Thomas.
Hercules misses with a few strikes there.

Hercules shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thomas napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hercules throws a strike aimed at the side of Thomas's head but Thomas avoids it well.
Hercules throws an elbow but Thomas slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas is letting Hercules control him for a moment.

Hercules tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Thomas wants to get back to his feet.
The referee asks Hercules politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hercules prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hercules taking a break here but Thomas is having none of it and regains half guard.
Hercules thows a huge punch but Thomas dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hercules wants to work for an arm triangle but Thomas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hercules is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thomas is just riding it out for now. Hercules eventually gives up the hold.
Hercules passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Thomas!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hercules won't let Thomas get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Hercules connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hercules.
Hercules has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hercules there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hercules ducks under a wild hook from Thomas.
Thomas looks to score with a jab to the body but Hercules is just out of range.

Hercules shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hercules was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hercules swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thomas is now in Hercules's guard. A big mistake from Hercules there, giving up the dominant position!
Thomas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hercules on the ground.

Thomas wants to stand but Hercules is controlling his posture from full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hercules is on top in guard.

Thomas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dog Hercules hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hercules displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thomas throws out the jab.
Thomas misses with a wild combination.
Thomas throws an overhand right that lands on Hercules's shoulder, as Hercules tries to avoid the shot.

and Hercules counters with a nice double leg into side control. Thomas won't be happy with that.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hercules advances to mount.

Hercules moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Thomas has worked his arm free - good work by Thomas!
Hercules wants to take a breather but Thomas manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hercules.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hercules's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dog Hercules showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hercules has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thomas's face.
Thomas is squirming around, avoiding Hercules's attempts to control the action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
