Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamir Amini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prime Caberra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamir Amini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Caberra!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amini tries to clinch up.
Amini shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Caberra moves into the clinch.
Amini prevents a takedown attempt there.
Caberra wants a takedown but no success here.
Caberra wants to get back to striking at distance but Amini won't allow it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Caberra.

Jamir Amini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prime Caberra.
Caberra tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Caberra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Amini. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caberra has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amini is working away from the top position though.
Caberra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Amini's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Amini's back!

Amini rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Caberra is thwarting Amini's attempts to control the position.

Caberra is looking for a kimura but Amini is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Caberra to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Amini stuffs the takedown.

Caberra regains half guard.
Caberra is looking to improve his position.
Caberra looks like he's trying to stand up.

and Caberra counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jamir Amini is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Caberra throws a series of punches but Amini avoids them all with ease.
Caberra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amini tries to avoid it but Caberra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amini to the ground. Amini escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Caberra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Caberra wants to sweep but no luck.

Amini stands and steps away. Caberra gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Amini gets caught flat footed, as Caberra shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Caberra wants to pass the guard but Amini is keeping the position.

Caberra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amini swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Caberra drops back, looking for a kneebar! Amini looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Amini looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Amini!
Amini has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Amini prevents Caberra from getting the reversal.

Caberra slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Caberra is looking for a sweep. Amini is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Amini tries to pass to full mount but Caberra defends it.
Caberra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Amini's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Amini's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caberra wants to control but Amini is keeping busy.

Caberra lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Amini is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Caberra is persistently looking for the submission but Amini is defending it well.
Amini wants to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jamir Amini dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Caberra throws a right hand that Amini ducks under and follows up with a left that Amini also avoids with ease.
Caberra shoots in looking for a takedown. Amini tries to sprawl out of it but Caberra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amini manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Amini stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Caberra.

Caberra tries to stand but Amini is controlling his head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Amini is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Caberra wants to stand but Amini has his arm trapped.
Caberra prevents Amini from escaping the position.
Amini struggling a bit here.
Caberra trying to control the position but Amini is working away.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Caberra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Caberra gets to his feet. Amini looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Caberra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Amini digs a right hand into Caberra's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Caberra's gas tank.
Amini drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Caberra gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Amini has hold of one of Caberra's legs. Caberra is fighting the takedown attempt but Amini gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Amini slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Amini stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caberra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Amini controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Amini pushes down on Caberra's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Amini seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Caberra does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Amini stops Caberra from getting back to his feet.
Caberra slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Amini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Caberra being controlled here, momentarily.
Prime Caberra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Caberra wants to sweep but no luck.

And that's the end of the fight!
Prime Caberra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Amini has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
