Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Madaras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarrod Marinac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madaras comes to the cage accompanied by "Not Falling" - Mudvayne. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marinac misses with a takedown attempt
and Madaras counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Marinac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Madaras circles away.

Marinac is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Madaras throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Marinac has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Madaras.

Marinac's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Marinac shoots in for a takedown but Madaras shows good takedown defense.
Madaras cracks Marinac with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Marinac has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marinac there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
