The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vera keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dylon.
Dylon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vera.
Vera takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dylon keeps the fight on the outside.
Vera throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dylon counters with a straight right hand.
Vera swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dylon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vera.
Nice takedown defense from Dylon. No joy for Vera on that attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vera, right into the meat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vera looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dylon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dylon swats away the attempt to clinch by Vera.
Dylon throws a shot to the body.

Dylon misses with a series of wild punches.
Dylon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dylon duly obliges.
Vera takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Dylon slaps away a takedown attempt from Vera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Barry Dylon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Vera.
Vera is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dylon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vera.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vera drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vera takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dylon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vera under the eye.

Vera is rocked!
Dylon feints a jab and as Vera dips his head, Dylon unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Vera right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Vera falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Dylon smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
