The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahmer moves in looking to clinch but Fredrikson pushes him off.
Fredrikson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dahmer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fredrikson momentarily.
Dahmer scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Johan Fredrikson has been cut.
Fredrikson misses with a combination
and Fredrikson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fredrikson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fredrikson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dahmer sprawls well initially but Fredrikson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dahmer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fredrikson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fredrikson has control of Dahmer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dahmer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fredrikson has isolated one of Dahmer's arms. Dahmer looking to fight him off but Fredrikson twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
