The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aureus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aureus fails to land the takedown.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nahrul.

Aureus feints and as Nahrul raises his hands in defense, Aureus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aureus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nahrul walks away with a smile on his face. Aureus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nahrul buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nahrul lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nahrul keeps Aureus at a distance using the push kick.
Aureus takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nahrul fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aureus.

Aureus has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nahrul.
Kzarik Nahrul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aureus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
