Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rizzo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to open road song. Ares is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by r this town i 101. Rizzo has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Semmy Rizzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ares shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rizzo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ares stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rizzo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ares uses his free foot to push down on Rizzo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rizzo.

Ares jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rizzo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rizzo and Ares has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ares is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rizzo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ares has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rizzo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ares yanks on the arm and Rizzo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ares.
