Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lloyd Butler!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Butler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

King pushes Butler up against the cage in a clinch.

King manages to break the clinch.
King fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Butler tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Butler is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Butler throws a head kick but King moves out of range.
King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Butler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lloyd Butler was stalling too much, according to the referee.

King tries to bum rush Butler with a series of wild strikes but Butler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Butler, pushing him back against the cage.

King rushes Butler and presses him up against the cage.

King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Butler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butler gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

King closes the distance and pushes Butler back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lloyd Butler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian King will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
