Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Haukka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thomas Raith!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haukka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raith moves into the clinch.
Haukka swings wildly with an uppercut but Raith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Haukka with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Raith lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Raith trying to control the action but Haukka is working from the bottom.
Raith looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Raith is working for a kimura but Haukka is defending it quite comfortably.
Haukka is breathing heavily.
Raith seems to be looking for submissions.

Raith missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Haukka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Raith stands up out of the half guard.
Raith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Haukka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Raith swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Raith shoots in and drives through. Haukka sprawls well.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Haukka looking to throw knees to the head but Raith is blocking nicely.
Raith looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Raith wants a takedown but no success here.
Daniel Haukka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Raith.

Haukka creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Haukka stops a takedown attempt from Raith.
Haukka looking to throw knees to the head but Raith is blocking nicely.
Raith jumps guard and drags Haukka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Raith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haukka's guard.

Raith wants to control from the top but Haukka keeps moving.

Raith passes Haukka's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Raith is keen to just control but Haukka is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Raith escapes and gets back to his feet.
Raith gets a double leg takedown into Haukka's guard.
Haukka can't keep his opponent in guard - Raith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Raith is working for a submission of some sort.
Raith is trying to work for a kimura but Haukka is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Raith dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haukka tries to avoid it but Raith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haukka to the ground. Haukka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Haukka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Raith, pushing him back against the cage.
Haukka throws a knee to the head but misses.
Haukka tries to break free but Raith pushes him back against the cage.
Raith manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Haukka controlling from the top position.
Haukka is posturing up here but Raith has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Haukka tries to roll out but it's too tight and Haukka has to tap! Slick submission there by Raith!
