Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan Florian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Florian comes into the arena with "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ken Yoshida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Ken Yoshida has been cut.

Florian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yoshida is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Florian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yoshida's back instead.

Yoshida is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Florian is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Florian has escaped and now he's on top!
Yoshida lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Florian!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Florian is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Yoshida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Alan Florian will probably get the nod.
