Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zlapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Zlapp told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zlapp.
Lilly gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lilly is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Zlapp is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lilly gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Zlapp blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Zlapp.
Lilly working aggressively here.
Lilly has a couple of punches blocked by Zlapp.

Lilly throws a punch but it's blocked by Zlapp.

Zlapp is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lilly pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lilly is pressed up against the cage. Zlapp has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lilly down to the mat. Lilly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Zlapp dives in and grabs Lilly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lilly pushes down on Zlapp's head and hops out.

Zlapp takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A clash of legs there as Zlapp blocks the low kick.
Lilly lands a big head kick that sends Zlapp tumbling to the mat! Lilly takes a step backwards and waves Zlapp back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Mike Zlapp has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zlapp shoots in for a double leg but Lilly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zlapp gets tackled into the cage by Lilly. Lilly maintains the clinch.
Lilly misses with the head strike.
Zlapp blocks a body shot from Lilly.
Lilly has a couple of punches blocked by Zlapp.
Lilly prevents the takedown attempt.
Lilly tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lilly swings wildly with an uppercut but Zlapp uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lilly misses with a hook to the ribs.
Zlapp tries for a takedown but Lilly manages to get underhooks.

Mike Lilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zlapp looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lilly!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Zlapp in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Zlapp scoring with strikes but Lilly is staying in there.
Zlapp lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Mike Lilly has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lilly tries to lock up and control but Zlapp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lilly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lilly tries to get out of the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zlapp cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lilly is rocked!
Zlapp punishing his opponent with strikes.
Oh Lilly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zlapp postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Lilly out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Zlapp goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mike Zlapp!
