Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Augusto Pinochet!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pinochet but Pinochet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pinochet gets the takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Slater is trying to escape the position but Pinochet is controlling the position.
Pinochet trying to control the position but Slater is working away.
Pinochet taking a breather here.
Pinochet tries for a kimura but Slater is defending well.
Slater wants to get back to his feet but Pinochet drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sloppy strikes there by Pinochet.
Slater on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slater tries to get out of the position.
Slater is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Slater is not content to let Pinochet control the position.
Pinochet tries to move into full mount but can't pass Slater's legs.
Pinochet trying to control the action but Slater is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pinochet takes a little break here. Slater wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Pinochet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slater keeps working.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Augusto Pinochet wasn't active enough on the ground.
Slater shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pinochet fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pinochet decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pinochet perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Pinochet seems to be looking for submissions.
Pinochet is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slater defends it well.
Pinochet seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slater does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Pinochet maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Slater could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pinochet has cracked it and Slater is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pinochet!

Augusto Pinochet really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Charlie Wang's Tattered Rags & 95% Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
