Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pile Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver comes to the cage accompanied by my way. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ralph Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Driver.
Gracie misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Driver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Driver misses with a series of wild punches.
Driver waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gracie.
Driver avoids the body shot from Gracie.
Driver tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Driver doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Driver bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Driver looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.
Good work by Driver as he checks the leg kick.
Gracie cracks Driver with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Gracie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Driver checks it well.

Driver slips a jab from Gracie.

Gracie throws a head kick that misses.
Driver works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Driver misses the shot to the body.
Driver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Driver is just out of range.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Driver throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some wild striking there from Driver.
Driver lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.
Driver checks the leg kick nicely there.
Driver uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Driver was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Driver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Driver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie checks a low kick from Driver.

Gracie misses with a body shot.

Driver throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.

Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gracie.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Driver.
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Driver checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Driver connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gracie lands with a good body shot.
Driver moves away from the strike by Gracie.
Driver throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.
Driver ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Driver to the mat! Driver manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Driver lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!
Driver connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
BOOM! Driver connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Driver lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Driver lands with some strikes.

Gracie is trying desperately to improve position.
Driver lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gracie in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Driver breaks from Gracie's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Driver fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gracie is rocked!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Driver lands a big elbow.
Gracie is still in real trouble! Can Driver finish him?
Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Driver cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gracie wants to control but Driver is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Driver pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Driver! Gracie is hurt baaadly! Driver is firing away with more strikes - Gracie is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pile Driver!
