Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Lebron!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Longo!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Lebron throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lebron has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Longo.
Longo doesn't manage to clinch there - Lebron circles away.
Lebron stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lebron wants it to stay on the feet.
Longo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lebron as he jumps to the side.
Longo feints a jab promting Lebron to slip. Longo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lebron slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Longo dives in and grabs Lebron's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lebron pushes down on Longo's head and hops out.
Miguel Lebron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Longo.
Longo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lebron paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lebron gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lebron lands a jab to the head.
Longo is rocked!
Longo throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Lebron counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miguel Lebron!

Miguel Lebron decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
