PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krayzie Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elliot Stabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone comes into the arena with Thuggish Ruggish Bone blaring out of the sound system. Stabler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Grown Men Don't Cry. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krayzie Bone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elliot Stabler!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stabler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stabler lands in his opponent's guard.
Stabler missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stabler on the ground.
Bone is looking to stand up but Stabler isn't so interested in that idea.
Bone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bone tries to get out of the position.
Stabler content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stabler landing with the ground and pound.
Stabler makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Stabler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stabler drops back looking for a leg! Bone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bone manages to kick Stabler off! Stabler jumps back into Bone's guard.

Stabler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Stabler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horrible takedown by Stabler or perhaps it was just good defense by Bone which made him look bad.

Bone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Stabler is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bone asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Stabler is not content to let Bone control the position.
Stabler manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Stabler lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bone sprawling to the canvas. Stabler follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bone hang on?

Stabler lands a leg kick that knocks Bone off balance momentarily.

Good leg kick by Stabler there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bone.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stabler feints and as Bone raises his hands in defense, Stabler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stabler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bone wants to sweep here but Stabler controlling him for the moment.

Well Stabler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Elliot Stabler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
