Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes comes to the cage accompanied by Everybody Knows My Name. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doppo Orochi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orochi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Holmes thuds his right hand into Orochi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Orochi throws a leg kick that is checked
and Holmes counters with a leg kick.
Orochi slips under a jab from Holmes.
Orochi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Orochi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Holmes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Holmes there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orochi wants to land a leg kick but Holmes is out of range.
Orochi connects with a high kick.
Holmes throws a body kick that misses
and Orochi counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Holmes is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Holmes misses with a lunging right hand
and Orochi counters with a leg kick.
Holmes lunges at Orochi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Orochi's hand.
Holmes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orochi.
Orochi avoids the head kick by Holmes.

Holmes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Orochi tries to close the distance and clinch but Holmes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Orochi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Holmes is able to avoid easily.
Orochi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Orochi throws a sloppy head kick and Holmes moves out of range easily.
Orochi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Orochi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Holmes under the eye.
Holmes misses with a wild combination.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Holmes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Orochi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Orochi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Orochi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holmes at a distance.
Holmes throws a head kick but Orochi moves out of range.
Orochi tries a head kick but it misses.
Orochi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holmes circles away quickly and effectively.
Orochi throws a poor cross that misses
and Holmes counters with a stiff right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Holmes tests Orochi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Orochi tries to close the distance and clinch but Holmes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Orochi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Holmes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Orochi can pounce on him.

Orochi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Orochi is predictable there
and Holmes counters with a straight right hand.
Holmes throws a nice head kick!
Orochi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Orochi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Holmes checks it well.
Orochi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Orochi moves out of range of the body kick.
Orochi checks a leg kick.
Holmes moves out of range of the strikes.
Orochi tries a head kick but it misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Holmes scores with a nice head shot.
Orochi is looking to land body kicks.

A chopping leg kick lands by Orochi.
Holmes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Orochi.
Holmes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Orochi.
Orochi lands a lovely overhand right.
Holmes cracks Orochi with an open hand slap.
Holmes throws a quick inside leg kick.
Holmes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Orochi can pounce on him.
Orochi misses with a low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Orochi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Holmes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doppo Orochi dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sloppy strikes from Orochi. Those never looked like landing.

Orochi drives through and clinches with Holmes against the cage.
Orochi can't find room to land a body shot as Holmes controls the action.
Orochi cracks Holmes with a nice body shot.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Holmes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Orochi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Orochi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Holmes is struggling to control the position.
Holmes gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Orochi tries a body shot but Holmes blocks it.
Holmes content to slow the pace in the clinch.

It looks like Mike Holmes has been cut.

Orochi swings wildly with an uppercut but Holmes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Holmes lands a hook to the side of the head.

Orochi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Holmes is rocked!
Orochi lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Holmes to his knees! Orochi keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

A relieved looking Doppo Orochi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
