Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Souka Sudoka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maurice Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudoka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sudoka throws out a leg kick but Sullivan moves out of range and Sudoka only half commits.

and Sullivan counters with a right hand to the body.
Sullivan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sullivan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sullivan is nestled in close to Sudoka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sudoka wants to improve his position but Sullivan is controlling well.
Sullivan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sudoka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sullivan.

Sullivan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sudoka looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sullivan is pressing down on Sudoka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sudoka is holding on for now.
Sullivan trying to control from Sudoka's half guard. Sudoka has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Sudoka keeping moving, preventing Sullivan from controlling successfully.

Sullivan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sudoka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sullivan is pushing down on Sudoka's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sudoka is fighting to maintain full guard but Sullivan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sullivan throwing shots but Sudoka is blocking nicely.
Sudoka is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Sullivan is tapping! Great win for Sudoka!
