The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chadz as he avoids it easily.
Chadz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chadz stuffs the takedown.
Chadz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hill.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chadz stuns Hill with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Levi Chadz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chadz throws a leg kick but Hill checks it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chadz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Chadz looks to land a combination but Hill avoids it well.
Chadz's corner calls for a 1-2. Chadz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hill shoots in for a double leg but Chadz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Chadz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hill.
Chadz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hill moves away.

Chadz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chadz works over Hill's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Mike Hill has been cut.
Hill keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chadz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Chadz lands a two punch combo.

Hill shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chadz sprawls well. Chadz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hill gets slowly back to his feet.
Hill is breathing heavily.
Chadz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hill manages to avoid it.
Chadz misses with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chadz stuffs the takedown.
Chadz misses with a two punch combination.
Hill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chadz but Chadz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chadz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hill somewhat.
Chadz throws a nice looking combination but Hill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hill walks into a straight right hand from Chadz.
Chadz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hill's hands.
Hill dives in and grabs Chadz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chadz pushes down on Hill's head and hops out.
Chadz throws a series of punches but Hill avoids them all with ease.
Chadz throws a push kick but Hill slaps the foot to one side.
Hill fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Chadz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hill.
Chadz misses with a double jab.

Chadz misses with a few strikes there.

Chadz rushes Hill and presses him up against the cage.
Hill keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chadz's efforts to push away.
Hill missing with knees to the body.
Hill tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chadz smiles and moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chadz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chadz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hill is rocked!
Chadz batters Hill with a massive right followed by a huge left! Hill is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Chadz lands a final crushing right hand to drop Hill to the mat with a gruesome thud! Chadz is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
