Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Spar Sparman!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stjernen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Sparman to counter with a crisp jab.
Stjernen with a poor takedown
and Sparman counters with a stiff right hand.
Sparman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stjernen's head backwards.
Stjernen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stjernen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sparman scores with a hook to the body. Stjernen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Syver Stjernen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stjernen tries for a takedown but Sparman circles away easily
and Sparman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Syver Stjernen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sparman scores with a hook.
Sparman lands with an uppercut that bounces Stjernen off the cage and back into range.
Sparman lands a jab-cross combination.

and Sparman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stjernen is breathing heavily.
Sparman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stjernen's hands.

Sparman lands a left and a right that send Stjernen crashing to the mat, dazed. Sparman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sparman connects with a body shot that sends Stjernen's belly button to the back.
Sparman lands a nice looking body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sparman thuds a left hand into Stjernen's body.
Sparman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stjernen tries for a takedown but Sparman circles away easily

and Sparman counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stjernen! Sparman lets Stjernen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Stjernen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stjernen is holding his hands too far apart here. Sparman throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Stjernen is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spar Sparman!
Spar Sparman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
